 |
Bernie Biggers presented a response to the idea of having a
"Hunting Day" at RiverTree. The following was his response:
|
"I prepared my response to the proposed possibility
of having an open deer hunt on RiverTree property in order to clearly present my position to the Board of Directors,
and to be assured my full comments are incorporated into the minutes of this meeting. There can be no
excuse for my regulatory position to be misinterpreted, misrepresented, or altered in any form.
Article II Section 23: Firearms: No Owner shall use or discharge
or permit the use or discharge, on or from his lot or elsewhere on the property, any pistol, rifle (including
a pellet gun, air rifle or pistol), shotgun or any other firearm, or any bow or arrow, or any other devise
capable of killing or injuring or causing property damage.
Article II 24: Wildlife Sanctuary: states, “All
of the Property is designated as Wildlife Sanctuary. No killing of wildlife or birds by any means shall
be permitted.”
I follow these two sanctions and I expect all property owners, guests of owners, and children
of owners to do the same. I do not want my wife, children, pets, guests, or myself to be exposed to the
possibility of personal and/ or property damage by people ignoring Article II Sections 23 and 24."
 |
The executive board noted Mr. Biggers concerns.
The Board did agree that shooting at RiverTree would not be safe because of all of the cabins and trailers,
etc. so close together. When the idea of the hunting day was thought of, the intent was to have no
one on the property on that designated day.
|
River Place Gate
 |
Steve Sijansky reported that the gate is still being used. The camera has recorded Delmar Hiller coming
in and using the gate.
|
 |
The discussion of putting up a 6-foot cyclone fence which was approved by the membership was reviewed. This
fence will have a lock and RT will have control of this lock.
|
The meeting was adjourned by Steve Sijansky at 12:05 and pat Brown seconded the motion.
