Pat Brown commented that the gate has become a big expenditure. Ex. The gate being damaged. Rick
Thomas commented on having the gate exit card.
There was a discussion about holding off on major improvements at River Tree. Ex. Placing a slab on the rocks
by the pavilion by the bathroom area.
Bernie Biggers commented on the RiverTree sign out on the front gate not being visible. The possibility of more
light out front was discussed. The committee would look into the matter.
Rick Thomas moved to accept the expense report and Pat Brown seconded the motion.
The committee had a discussion on the Third Amendment. Steve commented that ten more names were needed
for the amendment to be approved. A list of names of those homeowners who had not signed was reviewed.
There was a discussion on rental property. Lombardy Park is only for RiverTree Land Owners. Trash
must be placed in the Trash dumpster and not left at the pavilion or one’s property.
Update on improvement projects:
Asphalt Repairs----Steve Sijansky commented that the roads really need work. We need to hold off on improvement
of the storage shed. The storage shed is not used by many property owners.
Other Business:
There was a discussion on the large amount of gate cards being issued out.
The number of cards issued out to each property owner was reviewed, and some property owners had up to 20 plus
cards in their possession.
Rick Thomas informed the committee that he would send out a registered letter to the land owners so that they
could list the cards they would be using. (Limit of 6 cards). The other card numbers would be voided and
not able to open the entrance gate and exit gate. If no response was made by the property owners,(notification
will be made by certified letter) their cards would be cancelled.
Jackie Thomas commented that owners selling property should provide their realtors a gate card. Once the
property is sold the card should be given back to the association by the realtor or homeowner who sold the property.
Another concern was the problem with people leaving their trailers on their properties.
The usual practice is to remove trailers after 7 days. The discussion of limiting the days to 5 days was
discussed.
The discussion of the Sheriff moving the vehicles (trailers) was discussed for possibility.
The next Association meetings will be held on:
November 8, 2003
February 14, 2004
And the annual meeting in May, 2004
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
