The meeting was called to order at 10:10 A.M.
Board members present: Steven Sijansky, Rick Thomas, Pat Brown and Terri Vincent. Owners
present were Mark Pendleton, Henry Sijansky, Ann Sijansky, Gary Rapier, Luisa Rapier and Jackie Thomas. Jerry
Huckaby attended representing the Gillelands
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Expense and Financial Report was reviewed. (See attachment). Some of the items of this report
were discussed. Pat has asked Mrs. Dean to cut back on some of her time since this is a slow time
of year for our facilities being used. The camera at the front gate has been installed.
This was one of the larger expenses for this quarter. It was mentioned that we possibly need a gate light. This
will be discussed at a later date.
The Financial report was approved.
The amendment to the bylaws was then discussed. Steven stated that we still lack approximately five signatures
to carry this amendment. Some of the BOD and owners have taken a list of those to be contacted to get their
signatures and approval on this amendment. The list of owners was divided and those agreeing to take some
names to be contacted were Terri Vincent, Mark Pendleton, Gary Rapier, Jackie Thomas and Jerry Huckaby. They
will report the results of their contacts to Steven as soon as possible.
Roy Gilleland has been contracted to do some paving and cement work in RiverTree. He will first place a
cement slab in the rock area outside the Pavilion. He will also do some asphalt paving work on the sides
of the roads within RiverTree. At a later date, he will do cement work on the entrance to RiverTree. The
approximate total for this work will be $12,017.00. We will do this work in increments. At this time,
we do not see the need to get a loan for this work.
It was voted to change the Memorial Day BBQ Dinner to Sunday evening, other than the usual Saturday evening. It
was felt that the Sunday evening would be best for all members, since there are a lot of events going on in town
on Saturday and also it does conflict with some graduation ceremonies. Richard Rutherford will be the chef
of the day. Richard was responsible for the great BBQ last year. Steven will have some RSVP cards
in the next news letter.
Rick and Jackie Thomas are continuing to work on clearing up some of the obsolete gate cards. Jackie will
be sending out the RiverTree News within the next six weeks.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
