New Board Discussions:
The board will look into the following items as they begin their term as officers:
-
Auditing the financial books.
-
Insurance at River Tree - what kind of coverage do we currently have in place.
-
Treasurer needs to be bonded
-
Enforcement of rules at River Tree.
 |
One of the issues the board is looking at is the enforcement of the rules for the ATVs -- All Terrain
Vehicles. The board feels that the release form that needs to be signed by homeowners who own these types
of vehicles is a start in this process of rule enforcement. The board will review what has previously been
proposed on the matter dealing with the ATVs.
|
-
Another issue was the posting of signs around River Tree. The board will look at different bids on
signs. Once a bid is accepted signs will be posted appropriately at River Tree. Jackie Thomas will
get some bids and information on post and digging the holes at Lombardy Park for the signs. The purpose
of the signs is to remind the homeowners of the rules at River Tree. Keep in mind the rules are put
in place to protect your investment(s).
-
The issue of needing another dumpster on busy weekends was discussed. On holiday weekends the
two dumpsters fill up quickly and trash bags are set on the ground. Jackie Thomas will look into the
possibility (cost) of bringing in another dumpster for those busy weekends.
-
Mark Pendleton will look into cutting the cedars that block the drivers views at the curves.
-
Ralph Silva will check on bids from audit firms to audit River Tree’s financial books.
The new board is excited about serving the homeowners of The Estates of River Tree.
No further business was discussed and the meeting was adjourned.
